How to pray for Greece:

(1) We pray that the Lord forgive Greece and have mercy upon her, because: she was at the roots of the Gospel going out of Israel and to the Gentile nations, has seen the glory of God, and was the medium used of God to communicate the message of Christ, but she exalted her wisdom higher than the wisdom of God, and placed herself under God's chastising rod.

(2) We pray that the ancient well of anointing which Paul established in the land be re-opened, so that the church of today come into alignment with that which was already in place from the beginning; in other words, we pray that the dried up roots of the church be revived, so that …

(3) Greece will be able to serve the Lord within the context of her God-given role as a nation (i.e. the redemptive purpose of the nation be fulfilled in our times).

How to pray about the Olympic Games:

(1) We ask the Lord to forgive the pagan rituals and circumvent the demonic plans which aim at using the athletic event to spread evil on the face of the earth.

(2) We pray that public outcry rise up against the religious, ceremonial nature of the Games and the Flame, so that all worship and spiritual elements be removed from the Games, until they remain a purely athletic event.

(3) We pray that the March 25 official ceremony of lighting the Flame by priestesses of Hera, at an ancient ceremonial altar of sacrifice, will come to nothing, and be void of all power to offer honor to the ancient spirits of the land, which would cause the wrath of God.

(4) We pray that as the Flame will go around the 5 continents of the world, it will not be able to accomplish the demonic plans for which it is sent, which are, to release and/or increase the power and influence of the (demonic) Prince of Greece throughout the earth.
