The Olympic Torch—an Altar to the Prince of Greece

Revival of Ancient Covenants
Imagine if a group of Egyptians wanted to restart the worship of the god Rah. In his honor they planned a global festival and invited participants from around the world to come and pay their respects to this deity, that had such a profound effect on the world.
At the beginning of this festival they planned to have the world join into prayers and altar lighting to this deity. As a call to worship, the priests lit an altar flame inviting the powers of this sun god to light it. From there this altar flame was run to every continent, to every Masonic temple, to renew covenants and call the people to stream to his temple in Egypt. Imagine if these priests had such success that large corporations gave money to support this venture. Imagine if the masses welcomed the flame with cheers and heads of state paid homage to its passing.
Now, imagine how much authority of this spiritual principality would be unleashed on the earth. This would be a truly scary scenario that would bring the world of intercessors to its feet to stand against this attack. However the community of intercessors has not risen to its feet, as this scenario is played out in the Olympic Torch Run. The evil one has clothed the Olympics in a cloak of responsibility that has blinded the eyes of even the prophets. They are unaware of the impending storm that will be unleashed by this event.
A Warning and Call to Prayer
This warning, and call to war is being sent out by (a particular group of) intercessors, prophets and apostles of Greece, who are on the front lines of this event (and the spiritual reconnaissance and warfare at large). From our perspective we have seen, and can testify to, the devastation that the (demonic) spirit of Zeus, also known as the “Prince of Greece”, (to whom the Olympic Games are still dedicated to this modern, secular day) has wrought against the people of God for millennia, and still is wreaking havoc on the church and world at large. If the people of God do not stand to defend the honor of the Living God, as the world prostitutes itself to the “Prince of Greece”, we fear the consequences that will follow.
We are specifically calling on the International Prayer community to stand with us in prayer. We are not trying to coordinate or control the kingdom of God into a specific program, but are sounding the trumpet so that all the tribes of the kingdom will arise and come to “Yahweh Nissi’s” banner and fight for the kingdom. We believe that this is truly a historic event that gives power to the evil one to maintain control over the peoples of the world, but it is also our opportunity to gain a great victory for the Kingdom of God. This is an event of global proportions as it will affect every continent, and every nation. It is the only religious ceremony that most of the nations of the world participate in. It is to this deity alone that Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, atheists, and Christians will pay homage in 2004, inviting him to come (through the official, formal rituals, the flame lit for him, and the hymn sung to him) and grant him glory. We cannot stress the importance of this event enough.
What follows is some specific information about the path of the Flame so intercessors from around the world can seek the Lord for strategy in meeting this attack. Please pray and act as the Lord leads you; we, from Greece, cannot face this battle alone, nor do we have the global authority to nullify the global covenant that is being made between the official Governments of so many nations of the earth and this spirit.
The Lighting Ceremony in Greece—March 25
The Lighting of the Ceremony in Greece will take place in ancient Olympia. It will take place in the temple area of Zeus and Hera. The lighting Ceremony will be presided over by Thaleia Prokopiou, who is an actual pagan high priestess of Hera (the wife of Zeus, and the Greek mythological version of the Bible’s Queen of Heaven). Prayers and worship will be given to the gods as they seek to bring down the flame from heaven to light the torch. This is done in similar fashion to the lighting of the altar of Zeus in the original Olympic Games (see article - Olympics not just fun and games by Randy.htm for more details about the ancient Olympics).
The day that was chosen for the lighting of the torch is propitious as well. March 25th is the Day of Independence of Greece, and coincides with the feast of the annunciation of Virgin Mary. This is a feast day that is celebrated nation-wide under the authority of the religious and political Government of the land, that in fact renew annually the covenant of the nation of Greece to the (Greek Orthodox manifestation of the) Queen of Heaven.
If that were not enough, it is also the anniversary of the re-inauguration of the modern Olympic Games flame lighting, on March 25, 1896. This day was obviously selected for its covenant making significance, by people who were aware of covenant relationships. There is no other profound reason for choosing a date more than 4 months prior to the actual Games to light a flame fire so much earlier.
The Battle in January and February
The first steps in 2004 in meeting this challenge will be in Greece, and Berlin. Lighting the altar of Zeus was a part of the ancient Olympic religious festival, but the torch run is a relatively recent introduction. It was re-introduced in 1936 on the occasion of the Berlin Olympic Games, in direct effort to covenantally connect ancient Olympia with Berlin.
Hitler had also recently brought the altar of Zeus from Pergamum (spoken of as the “seat of Satan” in Revelation 2:13) to a Museum in Berlin. One of the primary manifestations of Zeus is domination and control, as well as hatred for the people of God. We can see what was unleashed from the covenant made between Berlin and Olympia. 60,000,000 dead 6,000,000 Jews burned as sacrifices to the ambitions of this deity, through his chosen vessel, Hitler (who was a conscious worshipper of Satan). Greece itself was devastated by Nazi-German invasion, and did not recover until after a civil war in the 1950’s. When the Olympics returned to Germany in 1972, the entire Israeli team was assassinated. So we feel directed to break this covenant through repentance, and make Godly covenants between the peoples of Europe (to note, even the name “Europe” was taken from a rape victim of Zeus).
We will begin this process on January 20, 2004, in Olympia, Greece. We will then go on to Berlin in mid-February to break the other half of the covenant there. We call as many who feel led to stand with us in prayer and serious intercession before the Lord. We welcome your emails to our encouragement, your participation, your insights, and your prophecies. We also call serious intercessors that have participated in such events previously, and represent a higher sphere of spiritual authority, to participate on site with us. We strongly appeal to our German brothers to participate with us in breaking this covenant. Without you we cannot fully be successful. We welcome you to come to Greece for January 20, to pray with us at Olympia. We also desire your input and participation as we come to Berlin.
On the actual day of 25 March we invite intercessors from around the world to join us in shutting the spiritual gate that this deity has opened up into the world. Just as this flame is going out, we would like the world to stand with us in rejecting this flame’s entry into the nations of the earth, and the covenants it represents.
From there we call on the world to oppose spiritually the introduction of this flame into your land and continent; that each local group of intercessors would rise up and oppose the Altar flame of Zeus, as it enters your sphere of authority. We would invite you to communicate with us your efforts, not in an effort to control, but in an effort to see that this flame is put out spiritually on every continent and in every country that it dares to enter.
